If i understand well you have 6yrs of BB and two of wl?
So maybe you started wl with too much weight, are totally different movements and you must start wl with low weights.

You have to fully recover before! Also if it may take a whole year, and then be careful, because if you have this prob at 27, what may happen at 30?

Obviously power snatch works shoulders more than snatch, dont do for some time, do power clean and see if its better.

No it isnt.

Weightlifting Holland:
I started with very light weights offcourse (I had a wl trainer). but now I understand what's the problem. Last friday I had a consult with a movement scientist.

The following points are not normal:

-A lack of mobility (range of motion) in the Thorax. If there's not enough Thoracal mobility, everything depends on the shoulders. It just looked for the weakest point. it sounds really plausible...

-Very short hamstrings

-probably a lack of strength in the glutes muscles.


Now I start with mobility exercises, twice a day. ....it's really painfull but it feels good when it's finished!

This is good, mobility is the basic of all sports, and clearly BB doesnt improve it
wl requires perfect mobility

Weightlifting Holland:
No BB build muscles for me, but my mobility was even getting worse!
