LANCE! WOW

I am not passing judgement here but as I read the article all I could think of is the grimy stuff the USADA did to you Chris.

Yea, Armstrong is correct that the arbitration process is a dog and pony show. I was shut out of it anyway, arbitrarily. This looks typical of USADA- a pack of idiotic thugs.

I think that USADA is the only sport org that is trying to expose and ruin their athletes rather than hide/help them. I don't think that the Chinese or Russian anti-doping agencies go after their star athletes in order to bring them down. They probably help them design the correct program to avoid detection. Also, how else do you retain funding if you don't bust someone sometime. And there is no better person to bust than someone like Lance.

Talk about used up and thrown away. Nobody was bitching when he was the face of cancer survivors, selling books, bikes, and other Nike campaigns. And what is with the riders selling him out? Now, they need book money?

I dont get the point to declare an athlete doped ten years after but let him compete and win over seven years.

Italian Marco Pantani, tant won the Tour one time before Armstrong, was soon stopped and brought to dead.

Many think that Lance would have been much more difficult to win seven times in a row if Pantani was in race

Therefore, the antidoping was operational, but in favor of Armstrong......

So now that it is all run through the news what are your thoughts on this stuff.  I was excoriated at work today because I said "I learned a valuable lesson with lance, that you can be a lieing cheat and make millions.  But all you have to do is make a cancer foundation and say you are sorry after you are caught and everyone will forgive you."  The premise on those jumping on my case was who cares, everyone in professional sports is cheating.  What are your thoughts, should we just get rid of doping rules?  Obviously the rules and testing does not work.  Also, Chris from the view point of Anarchocapitalism does is approve of what Lance did (because his breaking the rules was in a sense stealing from others because he was making money from it)?
