If you want, show some of these kids research on the benefits of explosive training and how it relates to sprint and agility performance.
Here is one that compares jump squats at 30% of 1 RM vs. 80% of 1 RM. Shows the value of pure strength in terms of agility. More explosive training (30% of 1 RM) had much better overall ability.

Runners Remorse: A lot of guys are already talking about how they are tired of track already and its day 3.
I am appreciating it that I am not required to have high numbers. Our team is much smaller about 25 guys but it allows me to give them a lot more attention. The guys that want to be here are here and they are getting the coaching.
