Schoenheit im Olympischen Kampf, 1st Ed., (c) 1937

Folks,
After 8 years sitting wrapped up in a bottom drawer, our 1st Edition "Schoenheit im Olympischen Kampf" needs a new home. With a little one and her friends running around, displaying it's not an option, but keeping it buried doesn't do the book any justice. Eventually it'll either deteriorate or get damaged if it stays here.
So, we figured now is as good o' time as any to put it to good use for a good cause. We've listed the book on eBay here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Leni-Riefenstahl-Schoenheit-im-Olympischen-Kampf-1st-Edition-c-1937-/250976441990?pt=Antiquarian_Collectible&hash=item3a6f5c9686
"In mint condition with the dust cover, Schoenheit im Olympischen Kampf has been valued at $3200. This edition is missing the dust cover and is in good, although not mint, condition. Other copies of this book in similar condition have been sold for between $500 and $1500 dollars. All proceeds from this auction will go to support Columbus Weightlifting Club, a 501(c)3 corporation in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
The 1936 Berlin Olympic Games will forever be remembered in the context of the racial divide that came to define Hitler's Germany. Jesse Owens' fortitude and strength amid the goosesteps, salutes, and chants remain a lasting legacy from this, Leni Riefenstahl's--also known as "Hitler's Photographer"--official photo essay from the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany."
Fact making this auction even more apropos: Jesse Owens was a Buckeye!
Please spread the word to any interested collectors of Olympic/historical memorabilia.
Thanks!
