Here are some examples of her snatch training:

Pull + power snatch + snatch from high boxes
35 - 35 - 45 - 45 - 50 - 50 - 55 - 60 -60 - 60 - 65 - 65 - 65

or:
Snatch
2/45 - 45 - 55 - 55 - 60 - 60 - 65 - 65 - 70 - 73 - 75 - 77 - 79 - 70 - 70

or:
Snatch combo
Pull + power snatch + snatch + fall + overhead squat
35 - 45 - 50 - 55 - 55 - 60 - 62 - 64 - 66 - 68 - 70 - 71

Here is video of snatch combo for better explaination:
Trhové kombo:)

She does only 2-3 reps max. She never goes only for 1 rep. Nowadays she does three times a week power snatch and 3-4 times a week snatch.

dont drop head, torso and bar will follow i.e. drop, she needs to bulk up, looks a bit skinny, i.e. height vs physique
There is no shortage of stories where a small business person has been hit with tens of thousands or more of legal costs from their own lawyers. Then there is the potential of having to pay for the other sides legal costs if the small business person loses

She cant bulk up, because she would cross the weight limit. She is 175cm and 69kg.

I think she may reduce in 50% the volume in snatch combo or in Pull + power snatch + snatch from high boxes
And improve the snatch int the following sense (remembering thas her best is 92 or 94 kgs):
50    x 2
60    x 2
67,5 x 2

75    x 1
77,5 x 1
80    x 1

70    x 2 or 3
70    x 2 or 3

77,5 x 1

65    x  max reps.

It conserves the actual level of stress, and with a lightly more intense organization of intensity. I think that, by the goal in focus, and the time available, is not good a "reengeniering of training", but an operative evolution

Hi guys,

I have some issues and I want to ask you for help. My friend is preparing herself for competition in Turkuey and she needs to qualify to Olympic games too. Her total is 207 and she needs to get over 220 (weight in kilograms). But we dont know how to set volume and intensity in workout efficiently. She has 10 workouts per week. Do you know any good training methodologies or have any advice?
I ask there because her coach sucks.

Thank you. Every help apreciated. :)

Hi Joey,

your friend is incredibly strong! What country do you represent(you and your friend?)

I've been reading alot into the Chinese methods which produce results. I believe I read if a lifter their has a snatch max of 120, they'll lift 120 then drop to sets/reps with 105 for triples or doubles again and again and again ect. until tehnique looks close to perfect, or idealy perfect :)applaud

Please read this article....  http://lifthard.com/part-4-the-periodization-model/       about a 1/3rd of the page down and theirs a scenario where if you have a lifter with a weaker second pull and weaker in the drop overhead squat position they give a workout plan solution for those like your friend who have hit a brick wall. Its no mystery the Chinese are said to overhead squat more then front squat lol.

Another thought is throwing in stuff like plyometrics to add speed/explosive power. Maybe more bar work with high repitions to get the technique even smoother.

All the best, good luck.

i THINK SHE WOULD LIFT SIGNIFICANTLY MORE AT 75KG, why is that a problem?

to Mike: Thank you for advice! I will look at it. We are both from the Czech republic. She is oly and I am CrossFit. :)

to John: The problem is that she is in 69kg category and competition in Turkey is aproaching. Even if she is in 69 she doesn´t lift so much for qualification for Olympics. So if she would be more than 75kg she needs to get more over than 220+ total.
