Arnold/Trials/Nats Housekeeping to Date

Folks,
A few housekeeping items to streamline the process as we approach 60 days out from the 2012 Arnold Weightlifting Championships and e-mail traffic and questions are beginning to ramp up:
*OLYMPIC TRIALS and NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS*
As you know, we’re hosting the Olympic Team Trials and National Championships. For information on those two events—i.e., qualifying totals, procedures, deadlines, etc.—first check the USAW website at
http://weightlifting.teamusa.org/.
If the info’s not there, please direct the associated question to the National Office at 719.866.4508 or
usaw@usaweightlifting.org
.
Now, onto the Arnold…
*VOLUNTEERS*
We wouldn’t be able to raise the bar every year if it weren’t for our incredible volunteers, and without a doubt, the event in 2012 will be our most special outing yet. Our volunteer sign-up form is now live online, and we ask that everyone find a few minutes to help us out again this year. The form is broken out into 4-hour blocks, but be ye not freaked out! Helping even for an hour or two is deeply appreciated and greatly valued (but beware, you may be pressured to load). Add your name and e-mail address to the appropriate time block(s), and we’ll contact you as the event draws closer to nail down your exact time slot and unique skillset in order to exploit your services as only the sadomasochists we are can :) . Here’s the link to that form:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AltsN5BWkOyQdG9PSlRlb1ZuRjFEaWs4WDZXMTV1RVE#gid=0
Highlight the whole thing and enter it into your browser. The form automatically saves when it’s edited, so type in your info and close it, and voila. Done.
*SPONSORSHIP*
We’re excited to welcome back Eleiko, Risto Sports, and Larabar for another year and warmly welcome newcomers AdvoCare reps Dina Ross and John Lesko, Turbo Truffle, and a few others we can’t let out of the bag quite yet!!!! There are a handful of booth spaces left, but we expect those to be snatched up [Oh, we’re having too much fun over here.] within the next couple weeks. If you’re interested in securing one of the remaining booths, get in touch with Rachel. Call or text: 757.652.5348. E-mail:
