Some have figured out how to use the link to watch

w/o the hassle of the download?/play-now choices

that may be hazardous...

Here's one success story (but I haven't gotten that to work yet):

This feed looks good. The launching is a bit messy since they want you to download all kinds of stuff...

DONT DO IT. You don't need it.

I tried Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Here is what happens:

You use the link above and it pops open another window with the good video feed in the background and junk over the top.

The junk says you need to download a plug in... NO YOU DON'T.

Wait 30 seconds and the Junk Goes Away.

Some browsers Block PopUps... These russian sites want you to download all kinds of stuff. You shouldn't download all that stuff unless you are very very sure it is clean. Just Don;t do it.

This feed is the EuroSport Live through a russian server who wants to sell you stuff. It works using adobe Flash... the same as Youtube. you don;t need any other player.

I worked out how to watch & record the CCTV5,

use firefox, download VLC sofware, download sopcast, unselect boxes before/after installation,

use CCTV5 code sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/6002

push record button 2nd from right (white turns red) when bitrate? bottom right corner turns green 100%

save file to you favorite location
