Topic: 12 years of Pan Am Games for Sergio Alvarez

I noted that Sergio Alvarez again won the 56 kg weight class at the 2011 Pan Am Games, 12 years after I watched him on tv in 1999 winning the category. Very consistent lifter for many years. 267 kg winning total. The lifter from Mexico did rather well also - snatch 112 and cj 150 for 3rd place.

Oscar Figueroa also had an excellent day of lifting in the 62 kg category, snatch 137 kg and cj 175 kg.

If you search for pesas on youtube, you will get lots of results from Pan Ams:

  As far as finding the Pan Ams on streaming; ESPN3 is showing them.  It's the online ESPN, commercials but at least you can find something like this.  However, I can't figure out when they show what events.
