Not sure why you are confused. My posts are about weightlifting. They most certainly had absolutely nothing to do with politics. Philosophy, yes, politics no. And weightlifting without philosophy is just stupid weightlifting.

Viktoricus clearly asked about the training site of weightlifting. Your opinion about taxes, the role of the government etc. have nothing
with that. Actually pitty that this thread has been hijacked.

If you don't like it, you are free to go to another forum. I will say exactly what I wish.

"*My* training center would be run anarchisticly however. No rules except produce big lifts.", sounds good in theory but would you really want to to be legally liable for any behaviour of your fellow man or woman in **your** centre?  :)ugh
There is no shortage of stories where a small business person has been hit with tens of thousands or more of legal costs from their own lawyers. Then there is the potential of having to pay for the other sides legal costs if the small business person loses

Um, from ViKtorous' original post: "Let's say the government decided to fully invest on weightlifting and threw you all the money you need to fund your athlete's efforts, what would you do? "

Now who introduced politics to this thread?

John, of course, we aren't talking about issues involving arbitration and security- law and order. We are talking about weightlifting. An anarcho-capitalist system is not chaos but order. Government is chaos. But, discussing the ancap arbitration and security system would really be pushing this topic pretty far afield. I think it would be better if we just assumed law and order for the purposes of this thread. You have my email.

Yes indeed Tom- good point. It was in fact viky that introduced statism into the thread, slipping it in as an assumed moral standard which then the statists want to disallow anyone from rejecting. Why? Well, they are authoritarians! Not only do they want to steal from people, but they would silence any complaint about it also!

So, the implication is I am censoring you? Not at all. Just trying to stay on topic. If you want to debate anarcho-capitalism in this thread rather than anarcho-weightlifting, I wouldn't censor it. Those uninterested can simply ignore the thread. I just thought it wasn't necessary since we could discuss it via email and its fairly off-topic in my opinion. Anyway, this book, here in audio form, covers a potential ancap arbitration and security system, along with many of the other facets of a free society:
