Does something else go by the name?

Would another be better?

I have found this to be a great way to

get better hip action and zip under the bar

while also easing shoulder strain

(mine feel much better warmed by this)

-- I intermix this w/ other SN work up to about 70%

then go well w/ just SN on up to 90+%...

I might work it in down the line. It looks interesting.

Is cool. I like make pulls with 130% of snatch with that technique: 3 x 6 -8.
After, put 100% and make the same that the boy in the video. Obvious, with straps.
I think that is better employ the legs not the lumbar.
But we must remember that it is a complementary exercise for power and health. Not replaces classical snatch training

May I ask how high you can pull with 130%? I never went that high and am curious therefore.

From the hips, and with straps, I pull 130% of snatch to the middle of the chest. After this, an in the same movement, th 100% of snatch reaches the height of the eyes. Is fun, but is not valid to extrapolate results and improvements in this excercise, to results in snatch.
