An important discovery in technique.

Guys, I just realized...

When it comes to the starting position of either a snatch or a clean, you have to keep your hips low. Use your lats to keep the bar close to your body and your shoulders over the bar, but DO NOT purposely lean forward.

Thanks. This was something I actually learned because of you and the others who suggested me to improve my starting position with the cleans. I was so caught up with keeping my shoulders in front of the bar that I allowed a big leeway in loosening my upperback and raising my hips.
