Kneewraps for weightlifting
« on: Jul 31, 2011, 08:09 AM »
Hello Everybody

Iam new on this forum.

I have a question about kneewraps. Where can I buy this? (I prefer some company from Europe, cause Im from Holland) it's just for some little ''protection'' and comfort cause Im squatting alot. Not for adding kilo's to my squats like in Powerlifting.

Like in this youtube video:

And, I think these lifting wraps are not legal for weightlifting (see the link below)

Those wraps improve the safety in squat and in clean and jerk.
They probably improve the amount of kilos to move, too, at least in my experience.
They must be rolled in the knee following the geodesical path, to avoid slides.
Weighlifting rules must be checked before every championship about permitted equipment and its restrictions.
Is very ease buy them from powerlifters. For weighlifters is probably better used second hand wraps, because they allows better moviment than the news (very rigid)

Thanks for your reply arturo

Manfred Nerlinger said to me the red devil kneewraps (just like I posted in the link) are legal for weightlifting and are not to tight and long, like other powerlifting wraps.
