Balance Phenomena
«

Today I was doing some sets of Split Squat Presses. What I noticed was that when I had my left leg forward (non-dominant) I had great balance. When I put my right leg forward (same stance as split jerk) I have considerably less balance and had trouble holding position. Has anyone noticed this same phenomenon? Have any idea why that is? Would this elicit contemplation of switching forward legs for the split jerk?

Yeah I'm "right legged" and split left foot forward. Try it for a couple weeks and see. I think the best test to perform over-head lunges and you will quickly see which is more stable.
