A Novice Weightlifter.......

I got back into
serious
training today. By getting back I mean, I spent 5 weeks doing a peak up for a competition and then a week of unwinding (after the competition obviously).
The competition was a small Tasmanian one. My end results were 60/77. I cleaned 80, I didn't get under it fast enough when jerking it so lost it.
My scale weight is 70/71kgs. I
could
go down into the 69kg class...I'm finding it incredibly difficult to stay in that class...so I've opted to go up in class. Not that it really matters for a noob like me...
Current stats...
Snatch - 61kg
Clean & Jerk - 77
Back Squat -125
Front Squat - 105
Deadlift - 135'ish

I had to ditch last weeks two other training sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.
Tonight's training felt spot on. Really great.

Yesterdays workout was a bit of a strange one...
I bomb'ed at all three snatch attempts of 62k...I could catch the bar deep enough though caught it with quite soft arms and thus lost it.
