We have had another great response to our event this year and because of your support, 9 years and counting, we are closing the entries to the competition tonight, Jan 23rd.
Our waitlist will then start tomorrow and will continue till Feb. 11th.

As always, there is something new at the Arnold. This year, we are proud to welcome Eleiko Sport as a new sponsor. Now used in more than 160 countries, Eleiko barbells are the standard against which all other Olympic barbell manufacturers have measured themselves for over fifty years. 

A mainstay of the Arnold since the very first meet, master lifters, will compete on Friday in the Eleiko Masters Weightlifting Invitational, in which the best male and best female lifters will take home a new Eleiko training set.

Eleiko has also pumped up the prize money at this year’s Arnold, helping great lifters reach their Olympic dreams. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best male and female lifters in the Open and Junior age divisions, and an Eleiko barbell set will be awarded to the best lifter in the School-age division.

In keeping with the Arnold’s tradition of themed competition—including the Family Feud, the Pepsi Challenge, East Coast versus West Coast, and other rivalries—this year a team from the Oceania Weightlifting Federation faces America’s best in Islands versus Mainland. The competition will take place on Saturday evening, March 5th, and will feature several US Olympians and Olympic hopefuls from Nauru, Samoa, New Caledonia and other Pacific Islands.
