All the doubters and haters will hold back on helping him

when he actually is in competition, and that DOES

make a difference in made lifts and length of career.

Y'all seem pretty uninformed about JR status

amidst all your other opinions -- at least Sean H has set

things straight about the test list req.

The great travesty is how the US has decided

rob our athletes of the chance to be competitive

by adding 200% to the international requirements.

I don't like drugs, but if you're gonna be serious

about winning medals you gotta engage in the way

that those who are serious do.

If I wanted to compete in the NFL, I couldn't do so

if I had a strict rule about no work/sports on Sunday.

I think the world would be at least as improved by the

disappearance of Sunday work/sports as it would by

the disappearance of illegal drugs, but whether you agree or not

I hope you get the point -- the US has chosen to NOT

compete for medals in the sports where other nations

are on relatively equal footing
.
I agree w/ Mark Davis --
"Compromising on basic beliefs
in a doomed effort to be liked
is as dishonest as it is futile."

^^ That's a good point.

I have always thought that the whole "illegal drugs" thing is total bogus. None of the arguments in favour of prohibition make sense.
