So I am thinking about 350 mg a day then...
Also, I have posted the modified program now with a reduction on leg lifts in order to let my knee rest under the training journals.

So I snaged some magnesium. I am going to take about 242 mg since the multivitamin I take contains about 50mg. I have a question, Arturo or perhaps anyone, can answer this. Arturo said he took it all in the morning with coffee. But on dosing recommendations I read, it says it should be spread to 1/2 morning and 1/2 evening. What are our thoughts?

This is a empirical, popular-knowledge medicine. I don´t know if have random studies or pharmaceutical dossagem. I experimented little dosis, with good result. I think divided dosis may be good idea

I've been taking 1500mg of calcium most days for a couple weeks, and it does seem to be helping. I've been pushing snatches and squats and the knees are recovering well.

No significant change on the knee thus far. I am going to look into the MRI.

On a positive note the inclusion of vitamin D and magnesium into my vitamin routine has made a significant impact on energy. My energy level in just a few days has shot up. I am much more awake and alert during the day, I rarely get tired or drowsey, and I am sleeping a lot less because I just don't feel completely worn out at the end of the day (physically and mentally). However, the fine print is also I haven't done olympic lifts or squats in 3-4 weeks so that is also a large decrease in energy consumption. We will see how things progress.

THE VERDICT
Got the findings from my MRI. I have a fissure on my patellar cartilege down the middle where I feel the soreness. My meniscus and ligaments look fine. I also have some bursitis around my patellar tendon. The bursitis should clear up by just being smart with my knee and avoiding things that make if sore.
The fissure they said was a result of just wear and tear probably from many heavy squats. They said it will not get worse unless I do a lot of heavy squats on it all the time. They said I can still squat and lift just keep it around a load that does not aggrivate my knee then every once in a while push the weights a bit then move back to another load that doesn't aggrivate it. Part of this I feel is just the normal song and dance from a doc. What are your thoughts on this?
