Let’s start this off with a little background info…..
I’m currently 17yo lifting in the 85k class out of the training center at FDU in Madison NJ. My club affiliation is with Team New Jersey although I haven’t been able to get my USAW page to register with the club.
I have a background in hockey (14y),T&F(2y),lacrosse(1y),Rugby(1y)
My Prs are….
C&J- 100k
Sn-80k
Fs-275(lb)

Injuries that complicate my lifting
Blown out R shoulder (Rehab)
Labrum tear/Spurs L shoulder (Surgery)
Infected elbow bursitis/MRSA (surgery)

I’ve been back at my lifting for about a week after a 4 week hiatus for the lacerated wrist.

The worst part of getting injured isnt the pain, ya the pain sucks but what i HATE is having to back off the month after.
Like right now i cant stop thinking about hitting the weights, i just want to go to the gym and bust my ass for like 5 hours. Start with some heavy cleans, try to pr on the snatch and follow that up with heavy pulls and squats. Maybe a little bench too just for the hell of it..... but nooo sit down, take it easy, wait, wait, waaaaaiiiit
Its looking totally worth it too blow out my shoulders and back just so that i can feel like Im doing SOMETHING to progress
This **** can make ya nuts some times

By the sound of your "venting" you already know what you must do...
be patient... be patient... and wait and be patient some more.
Hang in there, you know it will get better.
P.S. Stop getting hurt! And, embrace the process (even this one)!

Believe me I understand (I've had more bad workouts than you've had workouts,LOL), but...
decide if you want to succeed or just beat the hell out of yourself (been there done that myself).
You've gotta train hard if you want to get good, but training smart is just as required.
I don't believe in luck, but good luck!

105 clean matches my pr from before my latest injury
100 in the jerk is an out and out pr now that i think about it, i never realy attempted a max jerk before. I might have hit 95/97
