damn... there goes my game plan! heres my problem: i was born with severe club feet ,had major bi lateral surgery just after i was born and now they face the right way but there really flat and misshapened. i dont know why but it really affects my clean and jerk.the reason i asked the question is becuase the snatch is moving up in weight faster than the clean and jerk and at this pace it will exceed my clean and jerk. this worries me, could this just be a beginer problem that i will grow out of?
Chad Vaughn was born with the same condition, but I don't know what severity. I don't even know what it is honestly. You might try getting in contact with him to see if he has helpful tips. I'm not sure how to go about that, but try contacting USAW about it and they may hook you up.

I know Doug Hepburn had club foot. Back in the 50s when he held the world record in the press, he was limited by his clean. Yep, he could press from the rack more than he could clean!

basically when i was born my feet were facing backwards and pressed up against my ankle. the surgeons cut them open, turned them back around and now thats what  i have .i would say they're severley mishapen missing alot muscle tissue, abnormal bone structure . kept me out of any athletic activity most of my life. but weightlifting works for me so i consider myself lucky and by no means "physically impaired". intresting had no idea chad had the same condition definetly gonna check that out. i read about doug hepburn in tommy konos book ,nice to know hard works pays off no matter what you got
i suspect the bulgarian method invites a high amount of douchbaggery - me

You can't see it in this pic, but one of chad's calves is much smaller then the other.

You will note how his hip mobility makes up for lack of ankle mobility.
