We are pleased to announce that, beginning on July 1, Strength+ will be sent directly to all Junior High and High School Athletic Directors in the United States.
Because of this, the next issue will be a double issue, not only covering the National Collegiate Championships, the Pan Am Championships, and the National Championships (along with listing results from local competitions across the country), but also covering various topics of practical importance to Jr. High and High School coaches as well.
Football season will be right around the corner, so some topics to be covered include how to use the Olympic lifts to maximize performance on the field, how to modify programs, if necessary, for various players (quarterback vs running back vs line backer vs kicker, etc), whether high school athletes should take supplements (and if so, which ones), and more. We will also include a section about the benefits of GIRLS lifting weights in their early teens.
Hopefully I don't need to point out that the audience for this upcoming issue of Strength+ will be considerably larger than the USAW membership alone. If you have products, services, coaching courses, etc. that you would like to market directly to junior high and high school athletic directors and their coaches, please e-mail me at
strengthplusmag@yahoo.com
for pricing info. Or call me at 757.652.5348.
Thank you!
