Anyone care to provide some insight into when he changed to squat jerk style and how it's effected his CJ total? Would be interesting to know. And NZ's best will be catching up to him pretty quickly if he doesn't keep progressing quickly!

Anyone know how his snatch is progressing?
157kg in march this year at the classic, not sure if that's helpful/new info for you.

Snatch needs work for sure. C&Jing a WR isn't going to get you gold when Rybakou can out-total you by jerking sub-200.

Thats what I was getting at. I hope he brings it up bu 2012, but hes going to need 15-20kg on that snatch unless he wants to clean 230ish. I will say, Lu Yong cleaned 214 easily and would have won on his second attempt then crush the record on his third, but got called for pressout. I think he will definitely look to hit 220 or in the CJ. So Kendrick needs a lot of work if he wants gold.

Who is NZ??? and kendrick did his first squat jerk with 188 back in 2004 or 2005 at the Jr. Pan Ams. He just does power jerks until the weight gets heavy and drives him into a full squat.

Kendrick will be ready when the time comes. He's tweaking his snatch technique as of recent. He has a problem with losing the lifts behind him. He can pull pretty much anything over his head it's just a matter of not letting it drift behind him. As for clean and jerks a week after hitting 211 he cleaned 218 and missed the jerk after holding it over head for about 2 seconds then he loaded 220 and racked it and missed it half way up from the clean.
