look marcus this thread is about pat if you want nitpick everything i say and argue about it send me a private message and well discuss this somewhere else.i think pat has a great future, i dont believe he is cheater, the guy is obviously very strong and i think whatever injury he has will pass ,good luck pat!and about the shadow lifters if you want me to tell you who they are they wouldnt be closet lifters would they!

I know its about Pat, yet youre the one bringing up all of these irrelevant comments about closet lifters and whatever, rather than just focusing on Pat's acheivements. Its annoying that we have such a great lifter on our hands yet people bring in outside crap about him (usually baseless rumors, and no you didnt do this) or 'others.'

I completely agree with Chris on this thread as well.

More pressure and criticism on this kid who has not ever tested positive than those who have been caught. Why? He has talent. Great. He can compete or never compete. He has no duty to prove anything to anyone as I see it. If he posts videos on youtube, watch or don't watch. Whats the big deal other than the kid is very impressive?

I violently agree.

I agree with Chris, the dude really doesn't have anything to prove to anyone its no different than a kid who doesn't lift that much but doesn't compete.  It would be nice with someone who is putting up big numbers to hit the international scene and get some credit back to USA for lifters and maybe get us a few extra spots.  Maybe even bring some popularity to the sport.  But the dude should be the one to make the decision to compete or not.  I think for some people it is frustrating to see someone with a lot of talent not use it for comps.  I know from a strength coach perspective when I see a kid who is talented in Oly lifts and doesn't care for it, it gets frustrating.  But earlier it was said he is gonna compete this year so time will tell.

Isn't a wrist injury that hampers his clean and jerk the main reason he isn't competing?
