...and much more ruthless ridiculing lies about "American Records" told by anyone in the USAW. So, if this offends you, don't read my posts please. I intend to step up the war against these deceptions.

I'll be reading. I definitely agree that if new weight classes were the only justification for making new records tables, then the 56 kg CJ record should have your name next to it. Your 153 should be the 62 kg record. But I know it's not just about your records, it's about lowering standards.
I am actually happy to say that the Canadian Weightlifting Federation/ Haltérophilie Canadienne itself only reset records once, and that was in 1990 as a result of the Dubin Inquiry and demands made to the CWFHC or lose funding. In 1993 and 1998, the records were kept same but shifted to the new weight classes as well as could be done.

Shaun,
Thanks for the kindness. Honestly, I would be fine with just putting the Standards back in place, which wouldn't put my name on anything. Its not about me, though I am not ashamed to say I would prefer my records be returned to me. Its about truth for me. Honestly, I am completely over my records being stolen. I figure the USAW can lie about whatever it wants but it can't change reality. I *am* frustrated slightly that my polite attempt to mention Jeff Michaels real record has resulted in extending the discussion endlessly. Those idiots ought to realize the subject would have been dropped long ago without their nonsense. That is why next time I will just be much more ruthless. :)

Chris,
Michaels junior record is pale in comparison to his 185 snatch (maybe more) at 110. Taking nothing away from any of the records, this is my favorite one to get restored. I don't know if I am being picky here but try to mention that one when you talk about his junior record. To me it's like talking about Cal Ripkin's record of playing consecutive games at John Carrol High School and not mentioning him breaking the streak in the majors. You know what I feel about your record and I have posted it many times "the one they said would never be broken". Thanks, Chris.

Jim,
I will stand with you anyday. The next time they mention a fake record, I will be far, far, far more aggressive in denying the legitimacy. The lifter themself will likely be offended, but I will be doing it for them also, whoever they might be. I intend to be completely and utterly ruthless for now on regarding this subject. If these people hated me before, they haven't seen anything yet. :)
