... We have three pendlay bars at my gym and the spin on them sucks. For bushing bars they are too stiff. I am looking into buying a new pendlay HD bar to beat up with but I am not sure. $300 is reasonable, I want something I can really hammer and not worry about it. I am horizontally bars that hook to my rack and I like to use and I do not want to risk damaging my Eleiko bar. Also having 2 bars is nice when a buddy comes over to lift.
I have the previous model of pendlay bar-The Econ bar. It has a cap on the end. I dont have the HD bar.
Thanks for all the comments Fellas. i believe that the pendlay bars are guaranteed for life (bending or collars falling off) for those who have broken ones....except the really cheap ones that he used to sell...his new ones have two snap rings in them so i'm told...i have heard that the Rogue bar that i am contemplating, is actually made by pendlay. and it also has a lifetime guarentee against bending or collars falling off.the only ones that i can find locally are the York elite training bar ($500). and i think its a bushing bar. I'm still on the fence, thanks again
