For instance, someone with no idea how to do the lifts (i.e., a powerlifter) will not get the same snatch and CJ from their squats, especially if they don't do full squats. Its a pretty simple sport really, but not idiot proof by any means.
I think you need even more delimitations than this -- that the lifter not only knows how to do a snatch and clean & jerk well, but still does them or some variant on a semi-regular basis.
