The broadcast had a few great shots from the side, I wish they would do that more often. I was watching the 2004 & 2008 olympics, I don't think I saw one side shot.

Tell me about it. Sometimes, if its all front shots, I cannot even tell how they missed the weight. Tommy Kono said "you see the weight go up and then down and wonder why they missed, that's why looking from the side shows you so much more."

Chermerkin was such a great lifter. I really thought he was going to get closer to a 273 CJ. It is crazy how he didn't come in first in the Snatch or CJ but, he won the overall. I'm also shocked he missed that 250. 245 looked like cake.
