When I retired, I tried doing the same routine I did before but snatched in the morning - then clean and jerked, squated, etc in the evening. I've also done other splits doing the same amount of work but in two sessions per day with really good results recovery wise. Still three days a week but twice a day on those days. More frequent but shorter - give it a try.
