Cleans using Kinovea

First time using this program. I'm very impressed with it, although I don't exactly know what a proper bar path should look like.

This was with 110kg

Cool.  Thanks for sharing.

Some observations.

#1 - You aren't tight enough at set up.  Your first move just after liftoff is to arch your back tighter.  This loops the bar away from you.  Notice the trajectory is forward of a vertical line right off the floor.

#2 - The bar moves away from you during the 1st pull.  The bar should move towards you during the 1st pull.  This maximizes leverage.

#3 - The bar makes an exaggerated loop away from you during the 2nd pull.  This usually means that you are starting the 2nd pull too early.  Wait for the bar to get to the upper thigh before initiating that super fast "pop at the top".


Work on the set up first and then be patient in starting the 2nd pull.

Ideally, most of the bar trajectory should be behind a vertical line drawn on the video.  This vertical line should be drawn perpendicular the floor and bisect the bar end at its liftoff location.  The MP joint of the foot should be on that line also.

My contact point is definitely something I'm trying to work on.
I think when I hit lower on my thigh it's because I rush the 2nd pull, like you said.
