Training Methods: Please Explain!

The post below about the bulgarian, russian, chinese, etc training methods is very interesting. Can someone explain/compare each training method? What do they emphasize? (Max Lifts vs. Max Strength, Frequencies, etc)
I have a rough idea about each one, but would like to learn more!
Thanks!

someone with more knowledge will chime in, but in a very condensed form
bulgarian: daily 1 rep maximum in very limited number of lifts (sn,c&j, fs, bs, psn, pcl&j, pulls) every training session, attempt to hit new records as often as possible, use heavy (>90%) singles for 'volume' on all lifts
russian: periodization, train in segmented blocks emphasizing different attributes (hypertrophy block, strength block, speed block, competition block, etc); they use more varied lifts than the bulgarians but will limit the intensity to usually no more than 85% till competition block, usually will use volume rather than one heavy set, the assistance usually consists of power jerks, btn jerks, pulls from varied heights, power lifts and the lifts themselves
chinese: combo of russian and bulgarian, usually daily maximum a few times a week with a varied number of assistance exercises (they include lots of bodybuilding work for small muscles), from the explanations I've seen they don't really periodize like the russians but don't train max effort every day either, more like linear progression building up volume (eventually moving to volume with what was 90% of max)
again just condensed explantion, I'm sure someone more experienced will explain better

Here are several resources for Bulgarian training on this site:

Abadjiev Lecture:

Woodhouse article:

I've attached a "transcript" of the Adabjiev lecture. Also a post on another forum that summarizes the Chinese training system.
The Russians don't really have a single system. There are many coaches working in many different ways. The best resouce for that would be
The Weightlifting Encyclopedia
by Arthur Drechsler.
My favorite author for (and arguably the "Father of") periodization in general is Tudor Bompa. His books are definitely worth it.
