The problem with the video is that it doesn't load like a youtube video (all at once).
The entire video (~45min) is split into ~18 MB segments (~3 min each). The next segment doesn't load until you've finished watching the last segment.

The winner of the mens 77kg Liu Xsiaojun with his 174Kg snatch, would actually have been in the top 10 of the mens 105Kg snatch session!

Is this a change relative to when the videos were first made available? Until recently I used to watch these videos and in an entire 40+ minute segment the video would only stop a few times. Now it does so every few seconds. Something has changed. Perhaps the paranoid Chinese gov has done something to their portion of the Internet that's messing things up?

These links are so slow to load, they are usable. Is there any way to improve upon this. I hate losing these videos, they were great to watch.
