I reality in iRAN been a great weightlifters is a dream for a boy, just like in USA been a famous NBA player.
It is very sad that everytime another country make glorious lifters, in USA the mass speaks of drugs.
Look at YOUR limit, your sport lacks, your foult, that speaks of other.

I came from powerlifting (IPF the serious one), and everytime russian lifters sets new record or win a game, there is always a looser form USA (US powerlifting is full of steroyds) who cry about steroyd.
Very few say: "oh, technically they are 30 years above" or "oh, they train 8 ours a day like weightlifters, we train like strong bodybuilders". And that's a big pity.

keep in mind, the numbers that were reported (485 Total) are WORLD records, not just weights that no one in NORTH AMERICA has ever lifted, but weights that NO HUMAN in history in ANY country has ever officially done.

When someone lifts more then the legendary lifters from countries like Russia, Bulgaria, or china (and many others), who are also genetic freaks, with amazing training environments, and are known drug users, then it becomes pretty obvious that they are doing something against the rules.

There are lifters in North America that have never lifted anything close to that are on steroids, but when no one in the WORLD has ever done it, then you can bet your bottom dollar that there using drugs, combined with insane amounts of work.

That's an intelligent reply,

but, keep in mind and pay attention: you are saying again that US lifters are natural.
That always as a Divine law.
I repeat, i came from powerlifting, and people says always the same. In powerlifting IS A LIE. (not true)
In weightlifting, are you sure, that is so true?

Actually in my previous post I wrote "There are lifters in North America that have never lifted anything close to that are on steroids"

I admit that I probably could have structured that sentience a little better, so ill try again...

There are lots of lifters in the history of North America that have been on steroids and still never achieved the same weights as lifters with the same amount of drug use in Europe or Asia.

There is a huge difference between powerlifting and weightlifting. PL only has drug testing at competitions, WL has random testing several times throughout the year as well as at competition. Also there is actually more money in PL than WL. Weightlifters can barely afford a place to live. How are they possibly going to pay for designer drugs? It's no coincidence that many of our best lifters have parents that are big into weightlifting, or have coaches that treat them as family. Even when our female lifters got some Olympic gold there was no fame or fortune for them.

Oranchuk: sorry, i havent understood exactly your reply. My English (as you can read) is not so good. Sorry.

Erdman, that's not exactly true. IPF is doing out of competition test and catching many lifters. Everytime lifters dope with his own money.  The other part of your reply is sadly true.

Weightlifting is very difficult to approch, to train, to understand.
