I understand the USAW paid the $5,000 fine in the end anyway but lost Norik to Armenia regardless, for being such punks about it and trying to make Norik pay for it. This means every one of my predictions in this thread has now come true. The prediction that the USAW would pay a lifter's fines anyway within 6 years only took 6 months or less. The USAW BOD voted unanimously for this idiocy, meaning they were unanimously warned they were total morons by me ahead of time. :)

I think its awesome. There is no "we", only individuals. They did Norik a favor with this stunt, which is awesome, and they further accelerated the collapse of the USAW, which is necessary for a new organization to rise. Its a win-win for everyone, except possibly the politicians and bureaucrats in the USAW, which is more good news.
