Its specific to the legs. Its hard to describe but its like an annoying buzzing, like electric pulses that just make you move, and move, and move. It feels more neural than muscular though I have no real idea. As I am paying more attention to it, I am thinking its weightlifting related more though general fatigue is also a factor as it gets worse around sleep time and especially worse once laying down and still. I have mentioned it for years but either I am becoming more aware and sensitive or its getting worse. Still, it isn't painful just annoying and delays sleep. Its very similar to what is described in these links but my symptoms do not get worse with increased time laying down, its pretty much all in my upper leg- hip to knees, and I don't have much of the spontaneous leg jerking that often comes with the disorder. My worst time is the first 1-2 hours of laying down. Eventually it settles down, or maybe I just finally fall asleep anyway.

i get it. its very minor compared to what you describe though. For me what happens is that as Im falling asleep i seem to kick out very hard. It doesnt bother me too much, but unfortunately it really bothers my wife! For me at least, I really do think it is lifting related.

Me to haha, I randomly kick out my legs or erect my spine when im almost falling asleep, the other half gets pissed off, to me its just weird :D almost like some sort of nitemare, physical!
