Douggie B's Road to the American Open

I am going to start a training journal here for my long journey to qualifying and eventually competing in the American Open. It might take me a year or more to qualify, but I am up for the challenge. I need a 235kg total (as of the totals now), which would mean I have to raise my best total by 30kg ('09 Collegiate Nationals - 92kg & 113kg). I have since snatched 95kg in the state meet of Ohio and C&J 117kg in training. I am on my way! Let the hard training begin![attachimg=1]

I'm about 85 right now. I need to move up.

I'm the same. I've been in the 77s since I started, but I weigh in consistently low (72-74) and I am taller (5'8''). So my coach wants me to compete in the 85s starting soon.

I keep forgetting to post my program up
I'm going to try and remember once a week to post all of the sessions for that week.

Good luck man, I am shooting for a similar goal so maybe I'll see you there. But at that point I may be a 94 lifter.
