Weightlifting in Philadelphia, PA

Hi All,

I'm going to be in Philadelphia from 22nd August to 5th September and I was wondering if anyone on the site can recommend a weightlifting friendly gym to go to while I'm there? One where chalk and dropping the weight won't result in being kicked out.

Any help much appreciated, thanks.

About a year and a half ago I traveled to the Philly area on business for a week. Twice I lifted here http://www.ironsport.com/
A great place. There were two or three platforms, mostly Werksan stuff, and other OLifters each time I went.  It's located just off one of the interstates, so it was quick and easy to get to.

Ironsport is awesome.  I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about Weightlifting, Powerlifting, or Strongman.  Great Atmosphere.  Steve Pulcinella, the owner, is a East Coast Gold Member and he has several athletes at meets hosted in Moorestown and the surrounding area.
