Dave,
You can see the video in lower qualities and then you may be able to see my blazing speed! Under each video are letters "LQ, LQ+, HQ, HQ+, HD". If you click on "LQ" you should be able to see it at speed since there will be less CPU demand.

Paul,
I agree that your camera really does put out great video. Now for my critique, most lifters can usually only count on one hand how many times they went 6 for 6 in a meet ! Congrats and in my short "career I think it only happened twice.
I really think that you were good for 2-3 kilos more in the C & J. I believe realize after watching yourself in the videos that it didn't help you one bit by "sneaking" under the clean. Just tell yourself as you are approaching the bar (for the attempt) to finish vertical or straight up -- it'll make all the difference in the world !
Thinking back , over 25 years ago when I was training with Fred Lowe, I just couldn't seem to get my act together. He yelled at me,after missing my lst & 2nd attempts, "you didn't come to the meet to do pulls -- did you ?! " That really sunk in and the 3rd attempt was so smooth that I was good for at least 5-7.5 kg more. Oh well, its the human fraility that makes things interesting.
Other than I think you did a very good job in picking the attempts, weight wise. Oh yes, I guess that you did get to met Fred at Leo's clinic a while back.
Good luck in your training,
Dave Peterson,Michigan LWC
P.S. I was of course talking about your 3rd attempt in the C &J .

I was very honored and humbled to meet Fred Lowe at the Sr. Coach course. He was quiet and unassuming but it seemed everyone hung on every word he said! He always seemed to have some great words of insight into lifting and he really related well with the campers that we coached, no matter their age! He is a rare individual!
