Heights and sizes of pulling blocks?
« on: Apr 30, 2009, 04:25 PM »
I got access to a welder and got some scrap steel here at the house. Anybody got the dimensions to some standard pulling blocks like height and top base size where the weights are?

I'm looking mostly for a small one for below the knee and a larger one for above the knee starting positions. If you don't got the dimensions, pictures would be alright since I could guesstimate the sizes as long as there are some bumper plates in the frame.

A foot wide and two and a half feet long would be fine.  I suppose the height would be dependent on your height.

Oh, Mike, you are everywhere!   :)hello

I was thinking of going with a 6" high for below the knee and a 15" high for above the knee.
