Weight Gaining and O-lifting

I am currently 5'6" 125 lbs. i want to get my weight up to approx. 140lbs to lift as a 62. I havent been on the weights in nearly a year so im looking for a good program to work on gaining weight while getting stronger in my lifts. Would it be better to gain the weight first? or just let the weight come as i get stronger with my lifting? If anyone could give me advice and possibly a sample cycle, that would be greatly appreciated.

Rule#1- Lift!!!
Rule#2- Lifting=life. So when lifting is good, life is good. Everything else is unnecessary details.

its usually not a good idea to put on body-weight without training, so i would say train hard and eat big, you may gain some fat but you will not gain as much fat as if you gained the weight before starting to train hard.
And once you have reached your goal weight then just keep training and maintaining your body-weight and eventually your body composition with get back to a good level.
good luck and dont rush the weight gain.
