He surely must have frustrations elsewhere. I hope your weeks will improve vastly from here on Chris.

Sorry to hear the news Chris, there is nothing more frustrating and sadly so frequently experienced by those of us who desire to do the olympic lifts. I reinforce Sjakk's comments, people who project like that have a lot of unresolved stuff in their lives unfortunately. I will hope that you find a suitable place to lift where what you do is appreciated.

Looks like we found a new place to train right down the street from the old one. So, I went by the fight club to see what they did with my 2 platforms. They put them out in the rain.

hey chris
i know the feeling when i turned up to the gym one day where the club was based in the cellar, a damp ****hole with a ceiling so low my tall friend couldnt jerk, a fantastic place no less, only to find the gym owner had done a runner over the weekend with all his equipment, owing 20 grand to the landlord.
No deceny even to put up a sign or send me a text to let me know, at least he didnt sod off with my kit, i would of hunted him down for that. The landlord of the premises weren't too bad but they did want us out ASAP.
I remember that gutted feeling of having to change everything, forget my training programme and getting ready to head down the local gym for squats and benches. But at the time, a lot of help from friends and a little bit of luck we managed within my deload week to get the kit into a local college. Almost as much access as we had before and its free, inside a huge sports hall.
Its the best place I could imagine training, I look back at the previous place and Im so thankful for where we're at now, and I hope you have the same feeling soon too bud.
Chin up mate, you'll get there.

The real owner says this guy is going to pay me for the platforms or leave the gym. I don't think he is getting much support from the other fighters and the owner is not happy with him. So hopefully we can get it all worked out and start lifting again soon.

Friends, I am soooo frustrated I hoped you would let me vent for one second or just ignore me.
This disruption to training, which I do not know when will end, means I can not compete at 62kgs. Too much time lost now. So, I have to go to 56 if I wish to win now and I didn't want to do that. It is simply incredibly frustrating to watch the calendar pass and not be able to train when I am not even injured, have my own equipment, and have a place to train.

Chris,
You are welcome to lift in my garage any time. I would think the commute from FL to PA may hamper recovery though!
