Puking your guts out is an amazing ab workout!  This is probably the secret of why many supermodels have such a trim core since they binge and purge regularly :)rotf

Godspeed with recovery from the stomach flu and I hope you find out was is going on in the abdominal wall.

UPDATE: I am pretty much over the flu (one problem down) and am working out again.  I did ab work monday and so far so problems.  Didn't do abs yesterday because I was very wiped coming back from the flu after my workout.  I called the doc that did my hernia repair about my ab problem and am waiting to hear back from him on that.  The doctors are still looking into the blood in the urine problem...without getting into all the gory details I see a urologist on the 30th to narrow it down.  They have it narrowed to just a few things now.  I am thinking it is not that urgent since I have to wait so long to get in, I figure if it was bad they would get me in ASAP.

UPDATE: I see a urologist on Thursday to determine what is up with the blood.  They still have no idea what caused it.  The CT showed some small spots on my kidneys the docs think they are just small cysts and nothing to worry about.  More will be know about that on Thursday.

The herina has been a whole other stress in itself.  I have been playing phone tag with the doctor for weeks and getting ahold of him is impossible.  Then he went on vacation last week so I couldn't reach him then.  I finally just set up an appointment to go into his office and talk to him face to face and get him to look at me.  That is not until May 12th though.  On the bright side it has been progressively feeling better as time goes on.  I have been doing abs about 3 days a week now with minimal soreness and that seems to be decreasing.

UPDATE: I have been given a clean bill of health from the urologist.  He said looks like it could have just been a freak occurance.  The spots on the kidneys were very small and on both (which I think it is a good thing, if it was on one and bigger then that is bad) they believe are just cysts.  I have to have one more urine test in 4 months to double check everything is still good.  But basically we can close that chapter in the book of Andy's Unexplained Weird Health Issues.

Still waiting on the hernia questions, but did abs yesterday and they felt the best they have since before surgery.  I may be over the hump on that one as well.

FINAL UPDATE:  Saw doc about the hernia today, my thoughts were right.  Scar tissue realigning due to new motions from different ab routines.  Lately, I have had zero pain doing ab work.  Looks like I am back in business.
