Why does it matter if the bar brushes high or not?
i think...
...a less loopy bar path - that is a straghter bar path, and a straighter bar path that is very close and easy to rack.

I have to say that reading this thread help me hit 116kg this past week. I realized I wasn't being patient enough with the bar and went into the 2nd pull a bit early. Thanks all!

i wanted to bump this thread given Fred Falco's recent question concerning the power clean and folks with long arms.
All the best,

I have started to learn little tricks to help my lifts with regards to adding in supplemental exercises. My jerks are better when I do dips and my pulls are better when I do pull-ups. I believe the latter is true because I start to use my lats to pull the bar in and be patient on the pull.
