Have fun kettlebelling. I need to get my registration sent in tomorrow for that comp. I think I can get 100, 125.

Saturday, 4-25-09
Felt a bit beat up this morning, so took a shot of Hydroxycut extreme (free samples) to get a little energy going.
Hang Muscle Snatch
Bar x 3
30 x 3
42.5 x 3 x 3
Snatch
50 x 3
55 x 3 x 3
Clean & Jerk
55 x 2
70 x 2 x 3
MetCon: did a longer one today, because the regular workout was brief and light. 21, 15, 9 reps of 45 kg push press, modified dips (put two boxes together and dipped between them), burpees (think squat thrusters), 20 kg SDHP (sumo DL high pull) - did this one in 21:25 - wasn't really worried about time, and took the rest I needed to make sure I completed everything, but this one still totally wiped me out. I have never sweated so much in my life, and my shoulder girdle and upper arms were toast afterwards. It's really fun trying to drive home in a stick shift when the arms don't want to work very well

Sunday, 4-26-09 - just realized that today is my 12th year wedding anniversary!!
Well, my shoulders and triceps were pretty sore today, not much going on, but got a little in.
Snatch
40 x 2 pwr, 2 full
50 x 2
60 x 1/2 missed first rep, made second (first indication that shoulders and tri's were not up to par)
65 x 0/1 x 2 missed both, had plenty of pull, just nothing to pull under
Power Clean
50 x 3
70 x 2
80 x 1
90 x 1
95 x 1
Back Squat - only thing that felt somewhat okay
70 x 5
90 x 3
110 x 2
120 x 1
130 x 1
140 x 1
RDL
70 x 5
90 x 5
105 x 5

87.5 x 1 x 3
Snatch Pull
80 x 3
90 x 3 x 3
Snatch Deadlift into a shrug
95 x 3 x 3
Front Squat
70 x 3
90 x 3

Wednesday, 4-29-09
Muscle Snatch
40 x 3
45 x 2
50 x 1
52.5 x 1
55 x 1
57.5 x 1/2 missed first attempt, but got the second for a PR!! (although, I haven't really done these consistently before now)
Drop Snatch
40 x 3
50 x 3
60 x 1 quit here as I was tired and not really into the workout tonight
Chins (palms forward) BW x 7, 6 not bad and getting better
Thursday, 4-30-09
Back Squats
50 x 5
70 x 3
90 x 3
110x 3
120 x 3 x 5 these were a little hard, also my lower back on the left side was bothering me quite a bit today
Power Snatch + Snatch (1+1)
45 x 1 x 2
50 x 1 x 2
55 x 1 x 3 these all went pretty well (they were light), but transitioning from power to full snatch was a bit challenging!!
Clean Pulls
70 x 3
100 x 3
112.5 x 3 x 3 these were barely more than deads, but I got a little movement out of them
Clean Deadlifts
122.5 x 3 x 3 felt pretty heavy today

Well, I have been lifting, just been really busy with school (final exams) and work (they are getting strict about Internet usage!!), so I haven't been posting in a while. I should be back for a bit.
Sunday, 5-17-09
Snatch
40 x 3
50 x 2
60 x 1 x 5 on the minute (otm)
65 x 1 x 5 (otm)
70 x 1 x 5 (otm, but 1 miss at start)
Clean
50 x 3
70 x 3
80 x 2
90 x 1
95 x 1
100 x 1
105 x 1 these all felt pretty good considering my back on the left side has been sore, from a pull or something
Front Squats
50 x 3
70 x 3
90 x 2
100 x 1
110 x 1
120 x 0 back was not into this today
The lower back on the left side gets sore in the bottom position of the squats, so I have been hesitant while descending!! Oh well, it's getting better
I am done with Spring semester and I have only one class this summer. Classes will be MW and some Fridays, so lifting will be a little better.
