                      On March 28th in Lansing,Michigan we will hold the 28th annual Spartan Open. It does probably go back into the 1960's,but got sort of "discontinued" for about 5 years in the late 70's. Fred Lowe had enough of that and so in 1982 it was started up again. Good luck at the meet, you guys from Michigan and the Great Lakes area. I enjoy going there but I am just too far right now :) Keep me on the mailing list. Generally I can't attend this one because it coincides with the Ontario Seniors on the same weekend. Love seeing my friend Hoan lift as well.

                         Thanks for replying and of course we'll be putting all our effort into running a great meet. We haven't seen Hoan at a meet in over 6 months and last month at the open meet down at Toledo -- I did find out just why . Bud told me that Hoan got a new job that's really got him "pinned down" so to speak !

                                   Good luck with all of your training. I've kind of lost touch with things going on, does this mean that you are back in Ontario ?!

I am in Malaysia, almost the other side of the world. Training in a health club.

Hard to imagine Hoan getting "pinned" with his good clean technique and leg power :)

I will let some more Ontario people know of the meet. It coincides with Ontario's provincial championships though.
