Sjaak,
I am still recovering. I am sitting a lot at work right now trying to develop my athletes training programs before they leave for summer break. This is causing both IT bands to tighten up and give me a little pain. In time when I get done with the programs and a lot of foam rolling will solve that. I am changing my work out up a bit. Although still similar I am going to work in more days off. Have a snatch day, c/j & squat day, then a day off and rotate that with a "light", "moderate", and "heavy". So I will work the snatch and c/j heavy every 1.5 to 2 weeks. Where as before I was going heavy once a week. Plus when I say light I will work light intensities. Before I considered working 3s as light and then I would push myself to try to PR on 3s. So the light day would turn in to heavy. I would do the same on moderate with pushing for a PR on 2s. Needless to say I am wore out after a couple of months.
I hope you are doing well,
Ross

Thanks for the update Ross,
the sitting at work is a rotter, I have the same as you, where I have to sit for long times, alas. It's great you've found a way to relieve your discomfort with the foam rolling. About the constant routine changing and pushing too hard; I have (hopefully: had) that also. Since I increased the volume in the full lifts, I notice I really have to adapt to it and at this time train mon-wed-fri. Your proposal of two days on-one off with three intensity levels sounds great, two days off does seem a long break.

Ross,
This training journal is starting to get dusty!
We need to meet up in June or something.

Pete,
Hopefully I can start up this week. I mapped out a training plan. The work hours are goofy... so I am trying to figure out a good time to lift. Thanks for the encouragement!
