April 9-@93KG
Today was a tough workout, I started with C&J worked up to 90%(135kg) after doing 5 sets of 85% then could not make 95%(142KG) Then I had to do pulls but I was so fried I could not do pulls with 80% of my C&J so on to clean deads. I did most of my work with 90%-5 sets of doubles with 201KG, then I tried some Prs- I did clean deads with 222KG then 234KG (new pR clean dead) I still had more in me for the clean deads but I ran out of time and bar space. Next time I will see what I can max out at.

It's interesting that you can be fried in the clean & jerk and pulls, and then can go on to a record deadlift, as if it's an unrelated exercise :)
Grats on the 234 kg!

yah its weird eh Sean, it was the snappy power required to do pulls that I was lacking but I still had the strength to stand up with weight. Just not the speed/power to snap quickly.
Today I did snatches up to 95%,snatch pulls to 95%, and fsquats up to 95% of clean for 4 trips

Congrats Justin, you have come a long way in a short time. I have no doubt that your goals are much higher but to come from a 90 kg snatch and 100 kg cj in January of 2009 to what you did last weekend is pretty cool.

Thanks Sean, here is the video of the lifts at nationals, I noticed I dont look as crisp as I did at westerns, maybe due to the flu I had or something.

I competed at seafest yesterday (38th annual) In Surrey, BC.
Justin Ott Weightlifting June 2010
I weighed in at 92.6 kg, my lifts went as follows:
snatch-
117x
117
122 (new PR by 2kg's)
C&J
147
151x
152x
Total-269KG- 3rd place.
Dont know why I couldnt rack these cleans at the bottom, must be a technique flaw or something.
