Topic: Women's Weightlifting Shoes

I've finally got my wife talked into "gymnastics with a barbell." She wants me to get her some sexy bowling shoes. She's very flexible and squats well. What type of shoe would y'all recommend?

Next question, my 11 year old daughter wants a pair of lifting shoes too. She's already in a women's 10.  she's wearing larger shoes than my 5'10" wife.  I'd like to get my little one a pair of cheaper shoes as she'll likely grow a bit more before she's all said and done. she has some flexibility issues and a higher sole would be good idea, I think? Any ideas?

I can't see me paying $200 for addistars (sp) for my little one. But my wife perhaps. She'd be mad but the cost of the shoes would make her wear them. 

Finally, any idea where I could these shoes.  A link would be great as my searching skills are deplorable.

The Do Win shoes are relatively cheap ($89 - $109) and have proven to be very durable.  I also wear women's size 10 in regular shoes; I wear an 8 1/2 in OL shoes and have owned Adidas adistars, Do Wins, and Werk-san shoes.  The Do Wins have the highest heel, but I tend to be toe-heavy so I like a slightly lower heel.  If your daughter has flexibility issues, she'd probably really like the Do Wins.

Old-school bowling shoes are a great way to go, especially if all-leather but the heel.

Thin leather forefoot, fairly solid heel, much better selection on Ebay...
