Thanks everyone, for the comments!

I agree about the shoulders, for sure.  There's also a lack of coordination between the pop and my shoulder movement.  I was pulling the weights really high on the cleans, but they were really crashing hard on me.  I know that if I can patch up some technical errors, I should be able to hit 155 before too long.
Granted, I hadn't C&J'd more than 120 from mid-November until this competition.  So, I sort of threw technique to the side on the platform.

Taylor --

You should update a lot of those recent PRs

that give reinforcement

to the possibility of making 600

before you head for Thailand.

Greetings all!  Preparations for my last competition before heading off on a mission are starting to come together.  I C&J'd 140 on Monday, and capped today's lifting off with a sweet 160 Jerk from the rack:

160 kg Jerk from the rack

Here's to new records in a week and a half (cause it's my last chance for the next two years)!

Thanks!  A little shaky with the arms, but good enough for me.

Goofing around at Crossfit NRG

the Goofing Around one, from a lifting clinic we did there back in Apr.

Right now he's winging west to the Far East...
