The rules are again the same:
in the attached ranking list championship points are given in the following way:
olympic title: 3 points,
world title: 2 points,
continental title: 1 point,
all of them obtained in the total of the superheavy category.
If the actual championship of the given year is absent (last time in 1967), irrelevant or ambiguous (last time in 1984), then a substituting event is taken into consideration.
Substituting events and greatest rivals are determined with the help of the list „No.1 weightlifting competitions year-by-year” on IronHistory.
