Matt, cool workouts. Are you going to do 2 workouts per week in this strength program? I would be fully off-kilter if I would pad the bar in the GM's.

Sjaak

I'm still doing Mon, Wed, Fri. I took the last friday off because it was the end of a cycle. I had to use a pad because I was sick of the bar rubbing against my spine.

Mon 4-06-09

Power clean

95x3
145x3
185x2
210x2x4

Squats

175x6
185x5
195x4
205x3
145x10

Pullups

+2.5x6
+7.5x5
+10x2 failed on 3rd
BWx4

External rotations

I fizzled out on the pullups. The squats left me tired and slightly nauseous. They went well though.

Fri 4-10-09

Power clean

95x3
145x3
195x2
215x2x4

Squats

185x6
195x5
205x4
215x3
155x10

Pullups - Sucked again

External rotations

Squats are getting strong. Even with another 10lbs, this workout felt easier than the previous. Pullups are getting weaker, and I can't figure that out. I'll give them one more workout, then likely switch back to rows.

Mon 4-13-09 (yesterday)

Power Snatch + Snatch

95x2+2
115
135
150
165x1+1x4

Goodmornings

165x6
175x5
185x4 PR
195x3 PR

Experimented with Zercher goodmornings.

I'm working pretty hard this week, so the presses got skipped/postponed. My pull is feeling strong. Snatching 100 is  only a matter of getting back into the groove.

175x2
195x2x2

Squats

195x6

I had an abbreviated workout today. Not a lot of energy after an 11 hr workday.

Matt, awesome workouts despite the heavy work shedule. I must say I bog down on the pullups (and dips) also sometimes. (4-10 workout) I keep doing them, but cut down to 50% volume and slowly build up again. I find that the slower the build-up, the more lasting the volume I can hold for extended periods. YMMV.

Thanks! Once I'm putting up some good weights I'll get videos. I should have got my 185 power snatch today.

Fri 4-17-09

Power snatch

95x3
115x2
135x2
155x1
165x1
175x1
180x1
185x1 Tied PR

Power clean

95x3
145
175
195
215 missed twice
The bar was high enough, but my elbows just weren't flipping up. It was weird, so I stopped.
