I am pleased to be a member of this forum. It took me a long time to realize it but the registration and forum system here really is the only acceptable alternative for a civil discussion of weightlifting.

Name: Shaun Le Conte
Age: 29
Gender: M
Occupation: high school teacher
Location: South Korea, for 6 more months as of late October/06

How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?: I saw Suleymanoglu on TV during the Olympics, and later saw a newspaper article about a local weightlifting club. I wanted to be like the Pocket Hercules
Years involved in weightlifting: Actively aware about weightlifting, about 14 years. Involved in the provincial sport governing body as an athlete or in some other role, 8 years.

Role in weightlifting: athlete, webmaster, coach in a few rare and informal occasions
Coaching/educational credentials: Bachelor of Human Kinetics, Bachelor of Education (secondary school math/phys ed), Level 1&2 NCCP theory (Canada)
